Our Workflows

Introtext

Corporate Identities workflow
(Logos, Branding…)

  • We start with a short video call to understand what your business needs — is it a full rebrand, a logo refresh, or something in between? I listen, ask a few questions, and get a general idea of the project scope.

  • After the call, I’ll send you a tailored offer with a breakdown of services, timelines, and pricing. If everything looks good and you accept, we move on to the deep dive.

  • This is where we talk about your vision in more detail — what your business stands for, who it speaks to, and how it should feel visually. We’ll also look at benchmarks or references you like (or don’t like), so we’re aligned before the design work begins.

  • I create initial design drafts — usually a few different directions. These are meant to explore possibilities, not to be treated as finished designs. It’s important not to get stuck on one version too early. Think of this phase as a visual conversation starter, not a final product.

  • Together we choose 1–2 directions to refine further. I’ll adjust shapes, fonts, and colours until we land on something that feels right, works across contexts, and fits your brand personality.

  • Once the logo is approved, I build out your full visual identity. This includes:

    • Logo variations (horizontal, vertical, icon-only)

    • Colour palette

    • Typography choices

    • Layout principles

    • Brand style guide (PDF)

Everything is designed to be consistent, flexible, and easy to apply.

  • Next, I prepare templates for your everyday use, such as:

    • Word or Pages letterhead & report layouts

    • Excel or Numbers spreadsheets with your branding

    • Optional: Google Docs/Sheets setup if requested

  • I’ll also provide branded visuals for social media — ready-to-use assets and, if needed, editable Canva templates so your team can work independently.

  • Many clients also request branded merchandise — here we can create:

    • T-shirt or hoodie prints

    • Mugs, tote bags, stickers

    • Banners or roll-ups for events
I’ll provide production-ready files and help guide you through the process if needed.

  • If your project includes printed materials (like business cards, brochures, signage, etc.), I’ll prepare the necessary print-ready files according to the specs from your chosen printer — or I can help you find one if needed. This includes:

      • CMYK/Pantone colour setup

      • Bleed and crop marks

      • Correct formats (PDF/X, outlined text, etc.)

      • Special finishes (like embossing, foil, or spot UV), if applicable

I coordinate directly with printers when needed to ensure everything goes smoothly — especially for complex productions.

  • Once everything is approved, you’ll receive a structured brand folder with clearly labeled files for both print and digital use. This typically includes:

      • Logo files (SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, EPS) in all variations

      • Font licenses (if applicable)

      • Colour references (RGB, CMYK, HEX, Pantone)

      • Brand style guide (PDF)

      • Templates (Word, Excel, Pages, Canva, etc.)

Everything is organised so you (or your team) can find and use what you need without digging.

  • After delivery, I stay available for small questions, extra file formats, or minor tweaks. If you need help applying the branding, onboarding your team, or expanding into new media, we can arrange follow-up support as needed.
